ACT Peer Specialist Retreat
Please join Mya Haley, Peer Specialist, Recovery Trainer, and Implementation Specialist, along with the ACT Institute on Friday, July 8th, for the 6th annual Peer Specialist Retreat from 10 am to 3 pm, open to ACT peer specialists and team leaders.
We designed the day to have a conversation about illness identity and its role in our lives, both personally and professionally. We will kick off the day with Ro Speight of OnTrackNY as our keynote speaker, then progress through the day with a panel of lived experience experts, discussion, and activities about the concept of illness identity and personal narratives. We will also provide lunch!
We look forward to hosting you at NYSPI after two years of utilizing remote and virtual spaces. We recognize the importance of community. Since there’s been an ask and a need to be with each other in person, we truly hope to see everyone in July!
Space is limited, so please sign up using the registration link. Please register by the end of day Monday, June 13th, 2022, so that we may finalize all plans and ensure we can accommodate everyone with space and food. Thank you so much!
