National Empowerment Center 

The mission of the National Empowerment Center Inc. is to carry a message of recovery, empowerment, hope and healing to people who have been labeled with mental illness. We carry that message with authority because we are a consumer/survivor/expatient-run organization and each of us is living a personal journey of recovery and empowerment.

Recovery to Practice Resource Center

This web site and the Resource Center for Mental Behavioral Professionals it represents are devoted to answering these two key questions that will guide behavioral health policy and practice for the foreseeable future.

CMHS Programs: Toolkit - Assertive Community Treatment Evidence-Based Practice KIT 

Provides tools to implement the evidence-based practices of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), which offers customized, community-based services for people with mental illness. Includes DVD, CD-ROM, brochures in English and Spanish, and PowerPoint presentation.

UPenn Collaborative on Community Integration

Funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), this five-year project is the first of its kind to focus on community integration of people with psychiatric disabilities.

Dartmouth Psychiatric Research Center

The PRC specializes in developing effective interventions under research conditions, then translating these interventions into actual mental health service practices and evaluating their effectiveness in routine practice settings.
