The ACT-In-ACTion Symposium 2026 brought New York’s Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) community together in Troy, NY, September 29–30 for two days of learning, recognition, and connection. Guided by the theme “ACT in ACTion: Where Relationships Drive Recovery,” the conference welcomed over 200 representatives from all five regions—New York City, Central New York, Western New York, Hudson River, and Long Island—whose participation reflected a shared commitment to strengthening recovery-oriented care.

The Center for Practice Innovations is very pleased to announce the Celia Brown Legacy Leadership Awards! These awards are presented to two young people in memory of her legacy of global leadership and to continue her dream of supporting young people to lead us and our communities across New York State.  Please join us in congratulating our 2026 awardees!

Each award recipient will receive:

  • An award of $2500 to support their proposed project
  • Regular connection with a CPI liaison and our team for up to one year
  • Connections to mentors, collaborators to leverage support and capacity for the project
  • ·Ongoing support for professional development, e.g. references, recommendations
  • Assistance with dissemination of project outcome

IMHATT Program Completion List

Access a list of OMH-licensed programs where at least one staff person has earned an Integrated Mental Health Mental Health/Addictions Treatment Training (IMHATT) certificate. People earn an IMHATT certificate after completing 29 online training modules that include basic, intermediate, and advanced skills in integrated treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders including tobacco dependence.

OnTrackUSA provides manuals and other web-based resources as well as consultation and training to programs and State agencies that would like to implement Coordinated Specialty Care teams (CSCs) for people with early psychosis. CSC teams provide innovative, evidence-based, recovery-oriented treatment to young people who have recently begun experiencing psychotic symptoms. These teams help people achieve their goals for school, work and relationships.
