Crisis Care for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disorders

The Guild for Human Services provides educational, residential, and clinical services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Mental illness is a significant challenge in this population, and the Guild has recognized the need to improve care for these individuals when they experience mental health crises. Consequently, the Guild initiated this needs assessment to: 1) Identify current gaps in mental health services; 2) Explore models ofcare and best practices for this population.
