(available as a live presentation to agencies upon request, please reach out to CPI’s ACT Institute to inquire (actinst@nyspi.columbia.edu): This presentation includes the integration of social justice issues with Trauma Informed Care practices. The presentation establishes that we cannot provide trauma care without understanding the person's sociopolitical background. Social determinants are reviewed and analyzed carefully.

- ACT Supervision Guidelines: Supervisors of interprofessional teams may not have the knowledge and content expertise to provide supervision for all disciplines on their team. Moreover, finding ways in which to address expectation of competencies of cultural humility towards an anti-racist practice can pose challenges to the supervisor. This set of supervisory guidelines lay out 1) expectations for job performance within the scope of practice for supervisors/team leaders, MD/NP, Nurse, vocational specialists, family specialists, substance abuse specialists and peer specialists 2) and identify opportunities for trainings where there is a gap.
