CRESTNY - Strengths-Based Crisis Care
Using a strengths-based approach is vital to providing recovery-oriented and person-centered care to individuals and families in crisis, and it expands beyond traditional deficit- and risk-based lenses to care. This session will cover how using a strengths-based approach can assist with co-creating care, deepening engagement, and prioritizing what matters most to a person or family in crisis. In this 90-minute webinar, CRESTNY will explore how to center a strengths-based approach in different areas of crisis care, both as a component of personal and organizational practices. Attendees will have the opportunity to practice utilizing a strengths-based lens, deepening one’s understanding that every person or family has both intrinsic and learned strengths they can use to navigate a crisis.
